Lorelei Lenzen has joined Chatham Financial, a financial risk management advisory and technology firm, as chief marketing officer.

Based in New York, Lenzen will oversee the firm’s global marketing strategy, including brand, communications, and go-to-market strategy.

She brings 25+ years of marketing experience, having led brand evolution and client engagement at large companies in technology, financial services, and consulting.

Lenzen was previously CMO at RethinkFirst, a health technology company, and Enfusion, a cloud SaaS firm. Before that, she was global head of brand, marketing, and communications for EY’s financial services sector.

Lenzen also previously served as global head of marketing and communications for BNY Mellon’s asset services business and head of marketing and brand at the New York Stock Exchange. Earlier in her career, Lenzen spent eight years with ITG, where she was head of global marketing and brand.

She has a master’s degree in marketing communications from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in communications studies from the University of Iowa.

“Lorelei’s leadership in financial services marketing and brand strategy will help strengthen our position in the market, ensuring that clients recognize Chatham as the firm that provides both the strategic insight and technological edge they need to confidently make decisions,” said Matt Henry, CEO of Chatham Financial.

Founded in 1991, Chatham helps clients mitigate risks associated with interest rate, currency, debt, commodity, and data exposures. The firm has practices in capital advisory, interest rate risk management, foreign currency risk management, commodity risk management, hedge accounting, valuation, regulatory compliance advisory, debt management, and defeasance and prepayment.

Chatham works with 3,500+ companies in a wide range of industries. The firm has over 700 employees across 14 offices in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

“Chatham’s ability to combine expert advisory with data and proprietary technology is setting a new standard,” said Lenzen. “This is an inflection point for the firm, and I look forward to advancing marketplace perceptions of Chatham’s brand to catch up with where its solution set has evolved.”
